WBTV is continuing the work to help tear down the technology divide in Mecklenburg County. WBTV will partner again with E2D (Eliminate the Digital Divide) for Collect to Connect. It will take place Tuesday, January 12th at NC Music Factory from Noon to 6 PM.
Ninth graders at Providence Day School are on a special assignment. They have spent two days looking through donated computers helping them get ready for students who are in need of a computer during remote learning.
On Giving Tuesday more than 750 computers were donated to help connect families in need to the digital world. It was part of WBTV's Collect To Connect Campaign.
